Photography
Bhutan is a photographer’s paradise and brings out the photographer in every soul.
It is advisable to carry fully charged batteries or extra batteries. More often than not, one runs out of batteries instead of images you would want to capture. Our itineraries are designed to provide enough time and opportunities to let our guest take enough memories back.
Photography inside religious places like Dzongs, Monasteries and other institutions is restricted.
* Consult your guides to keep abreast with the places considered sensitive to photography.
Health and Insurance
Though we take every measure to ensure your safety, we strongly advise you to avail travel insurance. The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan has initiated a travel and medical plan solely for the visitors. For more information visit the web site at www.ricb.com.bt or contact us.
The medical facilities will not be at par with that of the western worlds but one can find well equipped hospitals spread over the country. It is, however, advisable to have tetanus, typhoid and hepatitis A inoculations before entering Bhutan.
